Sustainable Compute Network is a social enterprise that transforms discarded technology into opportunities for UK schools.
OUR MISSION
Every year, millions of laptops and computers are discarded. Most end up in landfill, leaking toxic materials into the environment. Meanwhile, thousands of UK schools struggle to provide students with access to technology.
We bridge this gap. We collect unwanted IT equipment from businesses and individuals, securely wipe all data to NIST 800-88 standards, refurbish the hardware, and donate it to schools and charities that need it most.
If a device can't be refurbished, we recycle it responsibly through a registered route — and your disposition report tells you which of the two happened.
